7.2. Recommendations
If a heavy data file is involved, make sure you say it. Telling the recipient before sending an e-mail with a heavy data file attached is advisable and a courtesy. By doing so, we help the recipient avoid having his/her e-mail flooded or even fail to receive other message due to a shortage of space in the mailbox.
Safety measures. When e-mailing a file through external applications or without a previous registry, it would be advisable to encrypt and establish a password whenever possible. By doing so, the files sent are protected and the privacy between sender and recipient is not breached.
Make work easier. If a large amount of files are to be send, gathering all files and compressing them into a single file makes download easier for the recipient. This would be the case when sending pictures.
